Geostat has published a preliminary report on data that shows that median earnings for Georgian employees have increased by 19% compared to last year. This will amount to GEL 1,238 per employee in 2024. The median incomes, however, were 29.9% less than the average monthly income.
Below is a breakdown of median earnings for each sector.
Information and communication: GEL 1.960
Public Administration and Defense: GEL 1,878
Construction: GEL 1,810
Mining and quarrying GEL 1,705
Finance and insurance: GEL 1696
The report shows that median earnings in each sector are lower than the average monthly earnings.
