Thijs Reuten, European Parliamentarian, responded to the signing of a law “On Transparency of foreign Influence” by Shalva Papuashvili, Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia.
According to his assessment “Georgian Dream“, recently tried to put a final nail in the coffin for Georgia’s European Future – but they will ultimately fail.
“The free peoples of Georgia will always resist Russification.” They deserve the real backing of the European Union. Thijs Reuten, MEP, writes on X: “Impose sanctions on Mr. Ivanishvili” and his allies.
Shalva Papuashvili is the Speaker of Parliament. He signed the law on transparency of foreign influences. He said that the main objective of the law is “to strengthen the resilience of Georgia’s political, social and economic systems against external interference”.
