**MEP Speaks Out on Stolen Elections in Georgia**
A member of the European Parliament, Michal Wawrikiewicz, spoke out against stolen elections in Georgia. He was in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital city.
Wawrikiewicz said that the European Parliament supports Georgian people who want freedom and to join the European Union. He also stated that he knows the elections were rigged under Russian influence.

The MEP said he supports opposition groups in organizing free and fair elections in the future. He also expressed support for President Salome Zurabishvili, calling her the only legitimate president of Georgia.
**Sanctions Against Bidzina Ivanishvili**
Wawrikiewicz welcomed US sanctions against Bidzina Ivanishvili, a Georgian businessman. He said that European institutions should take action as well. Wawrikiewicz stated that he will work towards this goal because the US decision sends a clear signal to the world about the stolen elections in Georgia.
