Georgia’s Ruling Party Accused of Election Fraud
The Georgian Dream party is claiming that international observers legitimized their recent election. But this claim has been disputed by European Parliamentarian Richard Kols.
Kols says the truth about the election can’t be hidden. He claims that voter intimidation, violence, and manipulation were common during the vote.
He called the election a “constitutional coup” and not a real democracy. The international community must keep supporting the Georgian people, he said. They need new elections to ensure freedom and justice in Georgia.
Kols also backed President Salome Zourabichvili as the only legitimate voice of the people.
