On the initiative of MEPs the ongoing political developments in Georgia will be discussed today, 9 March, at the European Parliament, where a report about Georgia will be given by Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for External Affairs and Security Policy.
The report will focus mainly on the visit to Georgia by European Council President Charles Michel last week.
The Georgian delegation is expected to attend the plenary, which will begin at 15:00 Brussels Time.
“Assessments are primarily about Charles Michel’s visit. Everyone is interested to reach a compromise as soon as possible between the parties. We are prepared to continue the dialog in a constructive manner,” Maka Bochorishvili said to reporters. He is the Chairperson of European Integration Committee of Georgian Parliament.
