The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has reported that the questionnaire regarding Georgia’s application for EU membership is due to be sent next Monday.
The Ministry states that by receiving the questionnaire the country has entered a new and important phase in the EU integration process. Georgia is actively preparing itself for the next step of the application procedure. The Government Commission for European Integration (presided over by the Prime Minister) was charged with coordinating the completion of the questionnaire.
The Ministry is confident that Georgia will be successful in this process.
