MIA on desecration flag of EU: Law enforcement officers will identify violators and fine them

The Ministry of issued a statement about the removal and burning of EU flags outside the Parliament building. It noted that officers would identify and fine violators.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched administrative proceedings on the basis of Article 17418 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. This implies desecration of symbols of the European or the North Atlantic , or other international organisations, or desecration of flags or coats of arms of another state.
The law enforcement officers will identify violators and fine them. The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges participants near the Parliament to respect the law’s limits on and assembly, and to obey the lawful requests of the police.
The police will stop each act of violation immediately and will then take a strict legal action,” reads the official statement.
Participants the rally held by the violent -Russian in front the parliament building earlier today tore down and burned the EU flag. In its place, they hung the Georgian national flag.
