**US Lawmaker Demands Action Against Corrupt Georgian Officials**
The US House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman, Michael McCaul, has called for significant sanctions against high-ranking officials in Georgia. In a social media post, he said that such action is long overdue.
McCaul specifically mentioned Bidzina Ivanishvili, who he called the “corrupt puppet master” of the government. He accused Ivanishvili and others of oppressing the Georgian people and refusing to respect their rights and wishes.
The Congressman urged the Biden-Harris administration to take immediate action against these officials. He believes that this is necessary to hold them accountable for their actions.
