Michael Roth, the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee in the German Parliament (Bundestag), writes about it on his page at X.
Roth responds to Irakli Kakahidze’s words that “Olaf Scholz is a man with his own problems”, and doesn’t know “how he could save himself for Georgia”.
“Dear Irakli Kobakhidze: Don‘t worry about our Chancellor. We are concerned about the freedom and democracy of Georgia. Let’s talk.
I would like to invite to your favorite café in Tbilisi. Will you be available on Monday?” Roth writes.
