EU Should Sanction Those Behind Election Manipulation and Violence in Georgia
The chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the German Parliament, Michael Roth, wants the European Union to take action against those responsible for manipulating elections and violence against peaceful protesters in Georgia.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Roth said that the people of Georgia need solidarity in deeds, not just words. He called for EU sanctions against those who manipulated the election results and used violence against peaceful protesters.
