Germany’s Michael Roth Supports Georgian Protesters
The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Germany‘s Bundestag, Michael Roth, has shown his support for Georgia‘s protesters. He expressed solidarity with all those taking part in a peaceful protest in Tbilisi.
In a social media post, Roth wrote: “Friends, look at Georgia! I express solidarity with all participants of the peaceful protest in Tbilisi.” He emphasized that fighting for freedom and democracy is worth it, and surrendering is not an option.
Roth also thanked European citizens living in Georgia. He said he was proud of them, adding: “Thanks to all dedicated Europeans in Georgia. I am proud of you!”
