**Threat to Georgia Remains**
The threat of war and destabilization in Georgia has not gone away yet. This was said by Mikheil Kavelashvili, the newly elected president, while speaking to parliament.
According to Kavelashvili, the danger will continue until the war in Ukraine ends and groups working against Georgian interests are weakened. He said that over the past few years, Georgia has successfully stopped many attempts to drag it into a war and destabilize the country.
Kavelashvili credited the Georgian people with saving the country from destruction. He said they showed wisdom and patriotism during difficult times. The president also emphasized the importance of protecting national values and interests.
“We must act only in our national interest and make sure Georgia is safe,” Kavelashvili said.
