Mikheil Saakashvili said in a Facebook post that he did not want to compete with other people in their promises. Instead, he wanted to hold hands and bring his voters together at the polling station.
In his address, Saakashvili asks the parties to assist in transporting voters from regions of Tbilisi to their respective registration sites.
According to him, each lost vote “contains mortal danger; the only solution is total mobilization”.
“Georgia faces a grave danger” What time is it for colorful clips and social promises? We are losing our homeland. If we don’t mobilize and go the polling station on the 26th we will not only lose the visa-free travel but also the country will be impoverished. We will no longer even have it and will become a normal part of Russia.
Let’s not compete in making promises. Instead, let’s hold hands and bring our voters to polling stations together.
I call on all political parties and people who are active to help transport the Tbilisi voters to their registration points by buses and, if the buses get blocked, by private vehicles.
