Mikheil Sarjveladze, the Chair of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee congratulated Georgians on Constitution Day.
“I congratulate Georgia for the Constitution Day of 1921, which is an important day in the history of our nation. “This document has a special role, both in terms of its political and legal aspects,” he said.
This document was a model legal act for the civilized world of that time. It provided many progressive, foundational ideas and was an excellent model.
“I am happy that after the restoration independence of Georgia, Constitution and the entire legal order were based on the tradition established under the Constitution from February 21, 1921,” added he.
