**Ukraine Destroys Three Russian Radar Stations in Crimea**
On November 29, Ukraine’s military intelligence agency (HUR) reported that they had destroyed three high-value radar stations in Russian-occupied Crimea. This happened just a day after HUR claimed to have struck another radar system on November 28.
The radars targeted were two modern mobile systems called Podlet and one Kasta-2E2. The Podlet systems are worth $5 million each, while the Kasta-2E2 is estimated to be around $30 million. Both systems can detect air targets at low and extremely low altitudes.
**Previous Attacks on Russian Targets**
Ukraine has repeatedly targeted Russian military and industrial targets in Sevastopol and other areas of Crimea during the full-scale war. The HUR agency reported multiple explosions across Crimea over the past week, with Russian proxies claiming to have downed Ukrainian missiles and drones.
**Background on Russia‘s Invasion of Ukraine**
Russia occupied Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula in 2014 before invading the east of the country, marking the beginning of its aggression against modern-day Ukraine.
