Milton Keynes insurance offices targetted in pro-Palestine demonstration

As part of a nationwide , -Palestine activists have sprayed red paint on the offices of an insurance firm.
On Tuesday, 10 buildings in the UK were targeted, including the Allianz Insurance claim centre at Witan Gate, Milton Keynes.
The Palestine Action group has claimed responsibility for the attacks. It is a group that campaigns against the company and its alleged links with an defence company.
Allianz Insurance announced that it had closed affected premises out of caution.
Three of the four floors in the modern, glass-fronted Witan Gate were painted red.
The doors in the entrance area look have been broken.
Witan Gate House is home to Milton Keynes University Trust, as well as Allianz Insurance.
Recently, the entrance and reception area was renovated.
The group confirmed that it had targeted 10 Allianz offices, “the largest insurance firm in the world”.
The firm’s headquarters was closed while activists “occupied” the front overhang and daubed slogans in red paint.
A spokesperson for Allianz said: “We experienced disruptions overnight at several of offices.”
“The safety and security for our colleagues is paramount, and we have closed these locations today.”
They said that the operations and services to clients and customers were not affected.
“At approximately 06:15 BST, this morning,” said a spokesperson for Thames Valley Police. We received reports of criminal damage at Witan gate , Milton Keynes.
“Officers have investigated the incident, and it has been reported pending additional information.”
