Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia reports Minister of Culture, Tea Tsulukiani, has held a meeting with representatives of Georgian Pop Music and offered them a chance to participate in Ministry-supported projects.
The meeting focused on the terms and conditions for funding cultural activities/projects. It was noted that the Ministry prioritizes increasing access to culture in the region.
The Minister encouraged musicians to participate in competitions organized by the Ministry and to plan tours to the regions. This will help to increase access to culture, and will also reduce the damage caused by the pandemic to artists.
The meeting was conducted in a format of question-and answer, where the Minister answered in detail the questions from the participants, received information on the challenges faced in the field, and promised the support of the Ministry.
