**Ukraine to Face Mass Exodus After War with Russia Ends**
Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Chernyshov says between 200,000 and 500,000 men could leave Ukraine after the war ends and borders are opened.
Under martial law, Ukrainian men of draft age cannot leave the country without special permission. The minister said this is due to demographic challenges facing Ukraine in its fourth year of full-scale war.
**Millions Living Abroad May Not Return**
Roughly 5 million Ukrainian refugees remain abroad under temporary protection. However, only about 30% of these people may return within a year after the war ends, and another 30% may not come back at all, according to Chernyshov.
The minister also said that for every 150,000 Ukrainian children born in a year, 450,000 die in the same period. This is excluding war-related deaths.
**Ukraine Lacks Millions of Workers**
Chernyshov said Ukraine lacks more than 4.5 million workers due to the demographic challenges and war-related issues.
**Peace Talks Gain Momentum**
Discussions about peace are gaining ground with the U.S. and Ukraine recently agreeing on a temporary ceasefire as a step towards a broader peace agreement with Russia.
