**Slovak MEP Criticizes Raid on Opposition Offices in Georgia**
The European Parliament‘s Miriam Lexman has spoken out against the recent raids on opposition offices and arrests of activists in Georgia. She believes that immediate sanctions should be imposed on officials from “Georgian Dream”.
Lexman, who represents Slovakia in the EU parliament, made her comments on social media platform X. According to her, the actions taken by the authorities are completely unacceptable.
**Police Actions Against Opposition**
The police recently conducted searches at the apartments of activists and offices of political parties. The offices of “Unity of the National Movement”, “Coalition for Change” and “Droa” were targeted, as well as the apartment of a founder of one of these groups.
At the same time as the search at the office of “Droa”, the leader Nika Gvaramia and another member were arrested. Two members of “Strong Georgia” and several youth organization leaders from “Unity National Movement” were also detained.
