**Ukraine Condemns Crackdown on Pro-EU Protesters in Georgia**
Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the violent crackdown by Georgian authorities against pro-EU protesters. The ministry said that the government‘s actions demonstrate a “turn towards Moscow.”
The protests broke out last week after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the suspension of EU accession talks until 2028. Over 220 people were arrested, with dozens injured during the crackdown.
**Kremlin Responds**
The Kremlin has compared the protests to Ukraine’s Orange Revolution in 2004-05, calling them an attempt to “destabilize” the situation in Georgia. Georgian authorities have also accused opposition leaders of trying to replicate the EuroMaidan Revolution in 2013-14.
**Ukraine Warns Georgia**
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on the Georgian government to refrain from involving Ukraine in its internal affairs. They warned that Georgia should be wary of a “Belarusian scenario” rather than a Ukrainian one.
