Russia and Ukraine have carried out their biggest drone attacks against each other since the beginning of the war. The attacks come amid hopes that US President- Donald Trump may put pressure both parties to end the conflict.

**Russian Targets Hit**

**US Role in Conflict**

There has been much speculation about Trump’s approach to the conflict since his . Former adviser Bryan Lanza told the BBC that the new administration would focus on achieving peace rather than allowing Ukraine to regain territory from Russia. However, a spokesperson for Trump responded by saying that Mr Lanza did not “speak for him”.
