NATO representative in Ukraine: Russia escalates hybrid attacks against Alliance

, NATO’s senior representative , said that Russia’s increased use cyberattacks and hybrid tactics against the would not stop NATO from supporting Ukraine and countering such aggressive actions.
In interview with , NATO Senior Representative for Ukraine Patrick Turner said that Russia continues use a variety of hybrid tactics against NATO and the West.
Turner emphasized that Russia uses espionage in order to interfere with Western politics. However, he stressed that these actions would not deter NATO’s support for Ukraine.
“Recently we have seen a more aggressive and active use of hybrid tactics, including sabotage and cyberattacks. We have also seen Russia weaponizing migrants and attacking critical infrastructures in individual countries.
Turner said that Russia is targeting one by one, and “the group of democracies who, in general, do not wish Russia harm.”
The diplomat responded to a question on how NATO plans to combat hybrid attacks by the Kremlin, saying that NATO has agreed to a set potential measures that can be taken to respond to such attacks.
“Some actions are collectively coordinated, while others are taken solely by individual member states. If a deliberately targets NATO nations, it will be held responsible. Turner stressed that this applies not just to Russia, but to all other players.
