NATO Concerned About Georgia
The Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, spoke about the situation in Georgia during a press conference. He expressed concern about what is happening in the country.
Georgia recently had elections, and NATO wants the country to stay on track with its goals of joining NATO and the European Union. These organizations value democracy, the rule of law, and human rights.
Rutte reminded everyone that he has already spoken about this before. However, he wants to make it clear that NATO is watching Georgia’s situation closely and with some concern.
