**Ukraine Destroys Russian Surveillance System in Crimea**
Ukrainian naval drones have destroyed a Russian surveillance system on a gas platform in occupied Crimea. This was announced by the Commander of the Naval Forces, Vice-Admiral Oleksii Neizhpapa.
The strike was carried out using precision-guided drones. The Admiral said that “the hunt for the enemy in the Black Sea continues” and that Ukraine will not let Russian forces stay on its territory.
This is just one of several successful Ukrainian strikes on occupied Crimea in recent weeks. On November 27, Russia claimed that Ukrainian naval drones had hit the seaside city of Sevastopol, causing a powerful explosion. The next day, Ukraine destroyed a Russian radar station near the village of Kotovske.
On November 29, three more Russian radar stations were destroyed in occupied Crimea. The systems included an advanced mobile radar system called Podlet, which is estimated to have cost around $5 million, and a Kasta radar, which is estimated to have cost around $30 million.
**Recurring Attacks on Russian Targets**
Ukraine has repeatedly attacked Russian military and industrial targets in Sevastopol and other parts of occupied Crimea during the full-scale war. As a result, Russia withdrew its last patrol ship from Crimea on July 15.
The recent attacks are part of Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to disrupt Russian operations in the Black Sea region. The Admiral’s statement suggests that Ukraine will continue to target Russian forces wherever they operate.
