**Netherlands to Allocate $2.2 Billion to Support Ukraine**
The Netherlands will give 2 billion euros ($2.2 billion) to help Ukraine in 2025, said Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans and State Secretary Gijs Tuinman on March 31.
This support will include 500 million euros ($540 million) for Ukraine’s Drone Line project. The goal of this project is to use drones in military operations.
Ukraine has been working on its drone program and can now produce over 5 million first-person-view (FPV) drones per year, said presidential advisor Alexander Kamyshin.
The Dutch support will also help with air defense, artillery, satellite communications, and maritime capacity. The Netherlands has already given Ukraine a total of 7.33 billion euros ($7.87 billion) since Russia’s invasion in 2022.
**Drones Will Make a Difference**
Brekelmans said that drones will make a big difference on the battlefield and save lives. He visited Ukraine with State Secretary Gijs Tuinman, who met with Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, many people have been killed or injured by Russian attacks. In one attack alone, four people were killed and 28 others were hurt.
**EU Support**
The European Union has also given support to Ukraine. The Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program will provide Kyiv with $15.6 billion in budget support over four years.
Ukraine is working on its drone production and can now make over 5 million first-person-view (FPV) drones per year, said presidential advisor Alexander Kamyshin.
**International Support**
The international community has been supporting Ukraine during the war. The Netherlands, EU, and other countries have given billions of dollars to help Ukraine.
