**Netherlands to Give Ukraine $3.8 Billion in 2026**
The Netherlands has promised to give Ukraine 3.5 billion euros ($3.8 billion) in government support next year. This includes 700 million euros for Kyiv to invest in drone production.
Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof made the announcement on March 5. He also spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and said that the Netherlands will keep supporting Ukraine against Russian aggression.
This is not the first time the Netherlands has helped Ukraine. Since Russia’s invasion began, they have given Kyiv a total of 7.33 billion euros ($7.87 billion).
**Russia Strikes Hotel in Kryvyi Rih**
On March 5, Russian forces struck a hotel in Kryvyi Rih with a missile. Two people were killed and 28 were injured.
**Ukraine to Get More F-16 Jets**
The Netherlands has already given Ukraine some F-16 fighter jets. President Zelensky confirmed that more are on the way.
**US Supreme Court Rules on Aid Payments**
The US Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration must restart payments for USAID projects worth nearly $2 billion.
**France, US, and UK Plan to Discuss Peace Talks**
French President Emmanuel Macron said that he wants to discuss nuclear defense with other European leaders. The US may also lift restrictions on military support for Ukraine if peace talks are arranged.
**Ukraine and US Delegations to Meet Soon**
Ukrainian and American delegations will meet soon to discuss peace talks. Ukrainian President Zelensky’s Chief of Staff said that a plan is being worked on for the first steps towards a just and sustainable peace.
