New restrictions are in effect as of today, 25 August. The food establishments will close at 22:00 instead 23:00.
The match between the Georgian National Team and Kosovo, scheduled to take place on September 2 at Batumi Stadium Stadium, will not be attended by spectators as it is part of the World Cup qualification stage.
Festivals, concerts, sports competitions, and other entertainment and cultural events are still prohibited.
Both indoors and out, wearing a mask is mandatory.
The Coordinating Council approved at the meeting a package of incentives to encourage vaccination of employees working in the private tourism industry. This means that travel companies and food establishments will receive various benefits. Guides who are fully vaccinated will be able to access public services for free, including state museums, protected zones, and ropeways.
The Interagency Coordinating Council urges the public to wear a mask, maintain social distance, and actively participate in the vaccination process.
