**Frozen Foundations**
The leader of the “Coalition for Change,” Nika Gvaramia, does not think that journalists and non-profit organizations will be left out of a possible accusation. He made these comments during a press conference today.
Gvaramia said that journalist Nanuka Zhorzholiani is an unfair target. If the government tries to punish her or her foundation, they won’t succeed. Gvaramia believes that this is part of a larger plan by the “Georgian Dream” government to suppress freedom and justice.
**Accusations Ahead**
Gvaramia thinks that politicians and non-governmental organizations will be accused in an upcoming case. He said that the government freezing Zhorzholiani’s foundation was an unfair move.
“We know what it means when goodness is sanctioned by evil,” Gvaramia said. “When love is sanctioned by hatred.” He believes that this is a sign of the country heading down a wrong path.
**Georgia on the Brink**
Gvaramia warned that if things don’t change, Georgia will become like Belarus. This is a country with strict government control and limited freedoms.
Four non-profit organizations were recently frozen by the government: Nanuka’s Foundation, the Gilauri Foundation, For Each Other, and Tbilisi Human Rights House. These foundations help families of prisoners and pay fines for people who have been unfairly fined.
