Gvaramia, in his speech, highlighted that for the first time ever in Georgian political history, the Opposition is uniting to both gather votes and protect them. He stressed the importance of the October 26 elections, saying that victory was within reach and just needed to be decided by the voters.
“For the very first time in Georgia’s history, we gather not only those who bring votes, but those who protect all opposition votes,” Gvaramia said. He said that the coalition’s focus is to protect every vote against Georgian Dream.
Gvaramia emphasized the unity of opposition under the banner number four, which represents coalition. He praised the efforts of the opposition parties in working together to achieve the common goal of defeating the ruling party.
“We are here, people who are united in our homeland and number 4,” Gvaramia added. This alliance transcends political lines and represents an shared commitment to Georgia’s future.
“First, we shouldn’t circle, but colour our choice,” he said. He was referring to the voting method and urging supporters be decisive in their vote process.
Gvaramia reaffirmed also the opposition’s larger goal of securing Georgia’s future in Europe.
“We’re going into Europe, and all that is left to do is win the election on October 26,” he said, underlining the importance of the election in achieving a European Future for Georgia.
