**Rally Leader: People’s Power Will Not Be Defeated**
Nika Melia, leader of the “Akhali” party, spoke at a rally on Rustaveli Avenue. He said that people will not be defeated by police forces.
Melia stated that gas, batons, and water cannons are not strong enough to stop the people’s movement for freedom. He added that many protesters have been hurt by the police’s actions.
The rally is large, with around 20,000 people standing from Republic Square to Parliament. Melia said this shows the strength of the people’s power.

Nika Melia emphasized that Moscow will not win over Tbilisi. He said that plastic men or “robocops” will not be able to defeat the people.
