Nika Melia, leader of the “Coalition for Change“, addressed the participants in the march to Rustaveli square.
According to Melia’s view, Tbilisi has the final say in this case, as the fraud was most evident in the capital.
“The leaders of opposition groups have a duty to restore justice in the country through their daily activities and to hold new parliamentary elections. Tbilisi must have a strong and independent voice for Georgia during this process. This city was the largest forgery. Do not be discouraged. It’s a great news that all opposition groups have consolidated around you. The goal will be reached by daily, righteous, and dignified struggles, not just in Tbilisi, but in the entire country.
Tbilisi, as usual, cannot continue to live in the conditions of a clever autocratic oligarch that stole our European and National future. We will reclaim this victory through daily struggle. The day and days will arrive when Tbilisi, and all of Georgia will stand in front of all the main squares and avenues in Tbilisi to defeat Bidzina, not only with dignity and truth, but also with our multitude, and to establish direct democratic rule in the country. Consistency is important because a Georgian citizen and voter will be the masters of this country. We have everything we need to win, to move forward. We will be on the streets, rain, snow and wind, until we achieve our goal”, said Nika Melia to the rally participants.
