Haley accused Gabbard of being overly sympathetic to authoritarian regimes.

Haley also criticized Gabbard’s broader foreign policy record, including a 2017 meeting with Syrian President Bashar al–Assad, which she called disgusting. Haley questioned Gabbard’s ability to handle national security responsibilities and accused her of consistently failing to denounce her controversial positions.
