**Civil Servants Face Pressure**
The head of “Fair Elections“, Nino Dolidze, says that many civil servants are facing a hostile environment at work. About 20 people have told her that they feel pressured and discriminated against because of their opinions.
Dolidze said that this is not the first time it has happened. In the past, some civil servants spoke out against the government’s decision to suspend European integration. Over 2,000 workers left their jobs in protest. The leaders of the ruling party, “Georgian Dream”, made statements that many saw as threats.
Dolidze is now advising civil servants not to quit if they are under pressure because of their opinions. She says they should seek help from organizations that can protect them legally.
**Disinformation and Pressure**
The situation is also affecting protests against the government. Dolidze says that disinformation is being spread about the size and purpose of the protests. This, she claims, is an attempt to avoid responsibility and discredit the protesters.
