**Singer Nino Katamadze Speaks Out After Court Session**
Singer Nino Katamadze has spoken out after a court session in which she and eight others were found guilty of administrative offenses. The group was fined 5,000 GEL each.
Katamadze said that the ongoing protests on Rustaveli Avenue and across Georgia are right and should continue. She believes that freedom and the right to speak must exist in a space of solidarity.
The singer expressed her gratitude that none of them were expelled from the courtroom and that the judge patiently listened to their remarks. She also thanked the court for not imposing a 60-day imprisonment, but rather a fine.
**Court Fines Nine Individuals**
On January 26, administrative proceedings began against various sector representatives who had protested near Judge Malkhaz Okropirashvili’s house in Kutaisi. The protesters were showing solidarity with the founder of “Batumelebi” and “Netgazeti,” Mzia Amaglobeli.
The case was processed under Article 174¹, part 3 of the Administrative Offenses Code. Nine individuals, including journalists, musicians, teachers, and civil activists, were found guilty and fined 5,000 GEL each.
