The decision of Georgia’s Constitutional not suspend the Russian law is without legal basis, ignores the legal conclusions of both local and international experts and represents a betrayal of by the judges.
According to a non-governmental statement, the court had an historic opportunity to oppose the suspension the integration process. It could also prevent the government from gaining access to private information about citizens. And it could stand up for its own people who, despite government and for months, have defied Russian laws.
“Unfortunately, the failed to make an independent judgment, again coming under the of ruling party, and failing to fulfill its function – of Constitution.
Georgian media and nongovernmental have thanked the two judges for their dissent. They continue to fight authoritarianism in Georgia and censorship.

The Constitutional Court has not granted the request for suspension of the law “On Transparency of Foreign Influence”, although it acknowledged that the lawsuits were admissible to review.
