**Non-Resident Ambassadors Meet Georgian President**
On March 7, 13 non-resident ambassadors from around the world met with Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili at the Orbeliani Palace. The meeting was a ceremony where the diplomats presented their credentials to the President.
The 11 newly appointed ambassadors came from Belgium, Luxembourg, Pakistan, Guatemala, Malaysia, Tajikistan, and others. They were joined by two other non-resident ambassadors who had already been serving in Georgia.
**Assessing Conditions in Occupied Territories**
After meeting with the President, the ambassadors visited the village of Odzisi, which is located near the occupation line. There, they assessed the current situation on the ground and received information about conditions in the occupied territories.
The visit was part of a series of meetings that the ambassadors had with Georgian officials to strengthen ties between their countries.
**Minister Meets with Some Ambassadors**
Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili also met with some of the newly appointed ambassadors, including those from Malaysia, Guatemala, Luxembourg, Pakistan, Belgium, and Tajikistan. These meetings were an opportunity for the ministers to discuss areas of cooperation between their countries.
The meeting with the non-resident ambassadors comes as Georgia seeks to strengthen its international relationships and address ongoing issues such as occupation by Russia-backed forces.
