North Korea and Russia strengthen their ties with a new digital cooperation agreement

North has provided Moscow with approximately two million artillery shells and at least 11,000 containers since 2023, during the ongoing Ukrainian war. South Korea’s reports also claim that Pyongyang sent 3,000 troops to Russia with plans to deploy another 10,000 by December. The Western countries have condemned Russia for its ties with North Korea. The cooperation between the two countries is increasing. “The IT Products Exhibition-2024 showcased achievements and tech products, including data solutions, software (both system- and application-based), information, communication and digital , as well industrial information devices developed both by educational and research units, and enterprises of North Korea, and the Russian Federation,” stated the report. The agreement allows for cooperation between the two nations the fields of digital development, communications, and information technology.
