Russia has received new equipment from North Korea that can strike targets 60 kilometers away. This includes 50 -propelled howitzers and 20 rocket systems.

The equipment was delivered recently, following earlier shipments of millions of artillery rounds in 2023 and the deployment of over 12,000 to Russia. The new howitzers are called Koksan M1989 and can hit targets up to 60km away. The rocket systems are enhanced versions of Soviet platforms.

**Russia Preparing Major Assault**

have confirmed the delivery after photos were shared on social showing North Korean howitzers being transported by rail through central Russia. Russia has assembled 50,000 troops in Kursk Oblast for an imminent offensive against forces.

The area is critical as Ukraine currently holds 600 square kilometers of Russian territory captured in August. Russia has also gained over 1,200 square kilometers of territory in eastern Ukraine recently, according to a monitoring group.
