**Norway to Open Office in Kyiv to Support Businesses**
The Norwegian Trade Ministry is planning to open a small office in Kyiv. This office will help Norwegian companies interested in working on Ukraine‘s rebuilding process.
Since the Russian invasion, Norway has been supporting Ukrainian businesses. The Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) and other organizations helped many small businesses find new markets and keep their jobs.
Now, Norway wants to create a “strategic hub” in Kyiv. This will be a small team that can help Norwegian companies navigate the support mechanisms and make connections for doing business in Ukraine.
**Trade Minister Cecilia Mørk Supports the Plan**
The Trade and Industry Minister said this office is important because it will complement the work already being done by Norwegian entrepreneurs in Ukraine. She added that businesses wanted someone on the ground in Kyiv to provide support and coordinate their efforts.
