Serbian Progressive Party’s Gathering Postponed
The Serbian Progressive Party‘s (SNS) gathering, announced by President Aleksandar Vucic, will not be held on Friday as planned. This was reported by the Nova.rs portal.
According to unofficial sources close to the SNS, the gathering has been moved to the second half of April. However, there is no official confirmation that the event has been cancelled.
President Vucic had announced the gathering earlier in March, calling it “the biggest in Serbia‘s history”. He invited people from all over the country to attend.
Nova.rs notes that public sector employees were not issued special instructions by organizers, which was a usual practice at such gatherings. Additionally, no quota lists have been published.
The SNS is known for organizing gatherings in advance, with some attendees being bussed in under threat of losing their jobs if they do not participate.
