Hundreds of people marched in silence through Novi Sad on Friday. They were remembering a 19-year-old man who died after being hurt at the city’s railway station two weeks ago.
The young man, Vukasin Crncevic, was one of three people pulled out alive from under a concrete awning that fell at the station entrance. Sadly, he is now the second person to die from those injuries.
Students and citizens gathered on campus before starting their march through the city’s center. They stopped in front of Vukasin’s school to put up a sign and black mourning banner.
Vukasin was taken to a hospital in Belgrade for further treatment after being transferred from Novi Sad’s Vojvodina Clinical Center.
