**5 Months Since Novi Sad Railway Station Tragedy**
People in Novi Sad, Serbia, gathered at the main railway station to remember the victims of a tragedy that happened five months ago. On November 1, 16 people lost their lives when a concrete canopy collapsed.
**Memorial Service**
A large crowd stood in silence for 16 minutes, the exact time the disaster occurred. They also left flowers, candles, and toys at the station to honor the victims.
One person who survived the tragedy is still in hospital. The opposition party officials also attended the memorial service and laid white flowers and lit candles. They carried a banner that read: “5 Months Since the Crime, 0 Responsibility, 1,000 Years of Prison to Come.”
**Protest**
The crowd blocked the streets leading to the station, and some drivers stood beside their cars in silence during the daily memorial. An opposition statement said: “We are marking 5 months since the crime without responsibility, 150 days of sorrow and pain, 3,600 hours of struggle for justice and truth, 216,000 minutes and zero responsibility.”
