**Students from Novi Sad Arrive in Belgrade**
A group of students who started a relay run from Novi Sad to Belgrade on Monday arrived in the capital city last night. They were welcomed with fireworks at Branko’s Bridge and later arrived at Students’ Square, where fellow students were waiting for them.
The students, who had been running for days, were greeted with a red carpet and decorated with medals. They also cut a ceremonial ribbon and handed over a baton to Belgrade students – a copy of the Serbian Constitution.
**Protests in Many Cities**
Meanwhile, protests were held in many cities across Serbia. Students from several high schools blocked roads and observed 15 Minutes of Silence for the victims of the Novi Sad Railway Station tragedy.
In Belgrade, seniors from Mokranjac music high school and other students blocked a central road to show their support for the student run from Novi Sad. A driver who tried to break through the protesters was stopped by the crowd and received a warning from traffic police officers.
Other protests were held in front of schools in cities like Sabac, Pirot, and Belgrade, where parents and students observed 15 Minutes of Silence and marched through the streets demanding their rights.
