**Assault Belgrade Park**

Two women were attacked while walking their dogs in a park in downtown Belgrade. The incident happened Wednesday afternoon near the building.

Ivana Vujovic and her friend were surrounded by a group of men who recognized them as not being part of a student protest camped outside the presidency building. The men started insulting them and one of them grabbed Ivana’s friend’s cell phone.

A video shows that one of the attackers is Marko Pesic, the director of a municipal utility company in . He is also a member of the ruling Serbian Progressive (SNS). Another attacker is Milan Kondic, head of the SNS councilor group in Kula.

Sources from Kula said that Marko Pesic has a history of violent behavior. He has been known be aggressive and has received restraining orders in the past threatening his common-law wife.
