The office of Serbian Ombudsman Zoran Pasalic is looking into complaints from students involved in protests and those opposed to them.
Pasalic said that protesting students filed complaints about false reporting in some media. Other students claimed they were denied the right to education and freedom of movement. Some analysts think these latter complaints were made by pro–regime student activists. The ruling coalition has been supporting students who are close to their parties.
Pasalic is checking if the Education Minister followed the law when dealing with student complaints about being denied access to college due to blocked roads. He is also investigating whether the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications (RATEL) followed the law.
