On February 24, opposition political parties Droa – More Freedom and Girchi – More Freedom will hold a rally to support Georgia’s European Choice and show solidarity with Ukraine.
Giorgi Vashadze is the leader of Strategy Builder. He notes that politicians, public figures and experts, academic circles and expert societies, members of national movements, and the supreme court are all united around the idea of building a strong Georgia with European civilization.
“What unites all of us is the choice made by the absolute majority of Georgians in the last decade. Unfortunately, the current ruling party wants to question that choice. They have abandoned the constitutional framework and betrayed Georgians’ will, and now they tell us that Russia is more important than building a strong Georgia with the civilized nations. We will not tolerate it. No matter how many disinformation campaign they run, this will not work. So we suggest that we gather at Rustaveli on February 24 to, firstly, let each other understand that disinformation will never work against us, and that our unshakeable will never change,” said Vashadze.
“Today, we announce the launch of a national liberation campaign. It will end when Georgia is liberated from collaborationism. The hijacked government returns to the people. We stand together, and we will fight together. We will fight until the end,” says Akia Barbakadze, a military expert.
