Protests to Continue in Tbilisi and Regions on February 8
Demonstrations will be held in Tbilisi and several regions of Georgia on February 8, marking the 73rd day of protests.
In Tbilisi, multiple events are planned for the evening:
* A national assembly of the Georgian Public Assembly is scheduled to take place at Theatre Factory 42 at 12:30 PM.
* A protest will be held in front of the Public Broadcaster at 7:00 PM.
* The David the Builder March will start from TSU’s first building and end in Freedom Square at 7:00 PM.
* A rally is planned in front of the Georgian Parliament at 8:00 PM.
Regional Protests:
Protests are also scheduled to take place in several regions, including:
* Gori, where a rally will be held in front of the City Council at 5:00 PM.
* Akhaltsikhe, where a protest will be held at the Shota Rustaveli monument at 6:00 PM.
* Batumi, where a rally is planned at the Constitutional Court at 7:00 PM.
* Zugdidi, where a protest will be held in front of the Regional Administration at 6:00 PM.
* Telavi, where a rally is scheduled to take place in front of the City Hall at 6:00 PM.
* Kutaisi, where two events are planned: a “March of Emigrants’ Families” starting from the White Bridge at 6:00 PM and a New Theatre Protest Manifesto at 7:00 PM.
* Khashuri, where a protest will be held at Biblus at 6:00 PM.
* Gurjaani, where a protest is scheduled to take place in front of the City Hall at 3:00 PM.
