**Attack on Coffee Shop Owners in Tbilisi**
A coffee shop owner and her friend were attacked by one person in a park in the Dighomi Massif area of Tbilisi. The attack happened near the “Magnit” building.
The owner, Kristi Pirveli, said that they had been helping citizens with free coffee and tea during protests on Rustaveli Avenue. She thinks it might have been connected to the protests. Two days ago, she posted about their help on social media, and yesterday’s attack happened.
**Details of the Attack**
The other co-owner of “Crab Coffee” said that one person attacked them near their house. They were standing 10 meters away when he started yelling from a distance. He then kicked Kristi in the stomach and broke her friend’s nose with his fists.
The police arrived and arrested one person, but let him go. The co-owner had to have surgery on their broken nose today.
**Police Statement**
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), there was a conflict inside the store that escalated into a verbal and physical confrontation outside. They arrested one person in connection with the incident.
