The outgoing Prime Minister of Serbia, Milos Vucevic, said that teachers who don‘t hold classes won’t get paid. He made this announcement on Tuesday.
**No Pay for Not Working**
Vucevic told TV Prva that teachers can’t be paid if they’re not working. He said the decision is final. Teachers in Serbia are joining student protests and making demands to improve their position.
**Protests at Schools**
School students and teachers across Serbia have joined the protests. Vucevic criticized high school students who he said spat at and cursed their headmistress. He called them out for disrespecting their professors and headmasters.
