Overnight, Russian forces launched 81 Drones from Primorsko Akhtarsk & Kursk.
Ukraine’s Air Force reports intercepting Russian Shahed type drones across 12 oblasts in an overnight attack that started at 22:00 on October 22.
According to Russian officials, 81 attack drones were launched from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, and Kh-31P guided rocket from the targeted the Odesa Oblast.
The air assault was repulsed by the aviation, anti-aircraft weapons, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine’s Air Force and Defense Forces.
The drones were shot over Odesa and Mykolaiv oblasts, Vinnytsia oblast, oblast, oblast, oblast, Kirovohrad oblast, Kyiv oblast, Poltava oblast, Chernihiv oblast, and Kharkiv oblast.
According to military sources, as of 0900 hours, 15 Russian drones had been “lost in space” while up 9 Russian UAVs were still in Ukrainian airspace.
Local have reported that air defense systems were activated overnight in the Kyiv Oblast. However, the effects of the attack are not yet known.
Officials confirm that drones have also been intercepted over the Sumy Oblast.
Russia continues to deliberately attack residential areas daily in an attempt to terrorize civilians, and damage infrastructure. While the Russian leadership denies that they are targeting civilians, as well as organizations classify this strikes by the Russian Federation as war crimes, emphasizing its deliberate nature.
